Without Status: Asylum Seekers in Israel During the COVID-19 Crisis

For years people seeking asylum in Israel have been living in limbo without status. This always creates precariousness and instability for people and families. But being without status during a pandemic — when access to healthcare and economic relief depend on government programs — is a different level of vulnerability altogether.

 

Join us as we speak with organizers and experts who are themselves asylum seekers. They will tell us about their experience trying to find safety and refuge in Israel, and advocating for their families and communities before and during the COVID-19 pandemic.
