186 Morrison Road, Oakville

Israelis are headed to the polls on September 17th – for the second time this year. And we in Canada have our elections just a month later. What’s in store following these upcoming elections?

The last round of Israeli elections in April were worrying for liberal supporters of Israel. We witnessed disturbing, anti-democratic trends. Attempts to pass anti-democratic legislation and talks of annexation followed.

And now, Israelis have a chance to choose a different path forward. What are Israelis going to choose? How is the pro-democracy camp preparing for the day after? And what common issues face progressive Jews around the world, including in Canada?

On Sunday, September 8th, leaders from NIFC-funded partners in Israel will share their analyses and strategies with us. Meet inspiring Israeli leaders on the ground who fight for democracy every day, before and after Election Day. Learn about our speakers here.
