Israelis are headed to the polls on September 17th – for the second time this year. We in Canada have our elections just a month later. What do these elections mean for progressive Israelis?

Worrisome trends emerged from the last round of Israeli elections in April, including some anti-democratic ideas and legislation, as well as talk of annexation. What will Israelis choose in this rare opportunity to start again? What common issues face progressive Jews around the world, including in Canada?

On Saturday, September 7th, leaders from NIFC-funded partners in Israel will share their analyses and strategies with us. Meet inspiring Israeli leaders on the ground who fight for democracy every day, before and after Election Day. Learn about our speakers here.
