Dates: January 5-10, 2025
Join other like-minded liberal Canadians on a unique, six-day exploration of progressive Israeli civil society.
Last year, a surge of civil society mobilization protected Israel in its darkest hours. For nine months, pro-democracy protests staved off a judicial overhaul by Israel’s extremist government.
On and after October 7th, again civil society heroically came to the rescue to deliver humanitarian aid, protect civil liberties and human rights, safeguard Jewish-Arab partnership, and call for political solutions to unending terrorism and occupation.
Now, those same grassroots leaders are determined against all odds to pick up the pieces, heal the wounds, and build a shared, democratic, and peaceful future for Jews and Arabs alike.
This January 5-10, witness the inspiring and hopeful activists and experts dealing with Israel’s most pressing issues:

“I honestly cannot think of a better way to tour Israel than with a New Israel Fund Study Tour. […] It increased the depth of my knowledge manyfold on issues and facts about the country and its struggles to be a more democratic and equitable society for all its inhabitants — Jewish and non-Jewish. I’d say it brought my level of understanding to a new level — but it also brought me hope! Something I was really craving as I have been a loyal supporter of Israel my entire life.“
