(NIF US) Ukraine Update: Meeting with Shomeret Jenya

Join Hashomer Hatzair and the New Israel Fund on Sunday, April 3rd, at 1 PM EST. to hear Hashomer Hatzair youth leader Jenya Brizkho speak about her experience fleeing Ukraine and update us on the current situation of her community. Jenya is the leader of the Hashomer Hatzair ken in Kharkiv, and she has been coordinating humanitarian efforts to support Hashomer Hatzair Ukraine. The ken in Kharkiv has been hit particularly hard, with many members fleeing and others sheltering in place. Some young men have even taken up arms. Jenya’s story is emotional, and powerful to hear live. The event is open to all and you can register below. It will run for approximately an hour and a half.
