(New Generations) Giving Circle
May 4 @ 8:00 pm - 9:30 pm
The NIFC New Generations Leadership Council is excited to invite all New Gen (20s and 30s) supporters to our annual Giving Circle.
What is a Giving Circle?
In a Giving Circle, the group pools its charitable donations and decides as a group where to allocate the funds out of NIFC’s 2023 projects. Together, we’ll go through an exercise to explore our personal values, learn more about each organization and its projects, and determine which organization will receive our pooled donation.
Giving Circles are an especially meaningful way to collectively participate in philanthropy as a New Gen community — plus, pooling our donations together increases the impact of our gift!
As one participant in a previous New Generations Giving Circle shared,
“The Giving Circle was an intensely meaningful experience. Not only was I personally contributing to NIFC’s work, but I was also directly contributing to one of our life-saving partners on the ground. I felt like I was making a real difference towards peace and dignity for Israelis and Palestinians.”
At our last Giving Circle in 2021, the group chose to direct its pooled funds toward Tag Meir. Read more about that here.
Donate below to participate. We welcome donations of any amount — no contribution is too small to make an impact!
This is a hybrid event (in-person in Toronto + virtual) on Thursday, May 4th at 8:00 PM Eastern. In-person and virtual participants will be joined via Zoom.
