(Community Event) Friends of Standing Together: “We Demand: Ceasefire, Release of Hostages, A New Future”

On June 23rd, at 1 PM, Friends of Standing Together will be gathering by the Israeli Consulate in Toronto at Yonge and Bloor for its first rally in Canada. This rally is taking place to demand: ceasefire, release of hostages, and a new future. This rally is also taking place on the 23rd in solidarity with a major upcoming initiative: Standing Together will gather in Tel Aviv with other key organizations on July 1st for “The Time Is Now”, a big event from the peace camp calling to end the war, bring the hostages home, and build a future of peace, equality, and social justice for all.
Please note that the police have been informed of the event on June 23rd and will be present. Here’s a Google Maps link to the exact location of the rally. We hope to see you on June 23rd at 1 PM!
