The October 7 massacre and the war in Gaza have devastated Israelis and Palestinians as never before. How can the two sides create some form of modus vivendi out of the ashes of war? Is it useful to talk about comprehensive peace at this time? What might be realistic but positive scenarios for a post-war region? What steps must be taken for each society to rebuild and to regain a modicum of trust in the other? What challenges stand in the way of a better future?
Dr. Dahlia Scheindlin will discuss these questions and more on January 14.
