Israeli protest movements are working right now to frustrate the plans of pro-settler extremists and to energize Israelis to push for a better future.

SPEAKERS
Gaby Lasky is a former Knesset Member, a renowned human rights lawyer, and heads an independent law firm specializing in criminal, constitutional, and administrative law. She represents Israelis, Palestinians, and international activists in civil and military courts, and serves as legal advisor to human rights organizations. She is the legal expert advising the protest movement.
Stav Arnon is the deputy CEO of Citizens’ HQ. She is a prominent leader of the Women’s Protest to Bring the Hostages Home. As a committed feminist activist, she has spearheaded numerous women’s protests in Israel, elevating issues such as violence against women and sexual harassment.
May Ater is the chief operating officer of Mehazkim, a digital activism movement, and serves as the digital lead at Citizens’ HQ. She is one of the leaders of the Women’s protest for a hostage release deal. As an Israeli left-wing activist, Ms. Ater specializes in digital organizing, mobilization, and managing digital communities for social change, particularly through WhatsApp-based political communities.
This conversation will be moderated by Elisheva Goldberg, the senior director of media and policy for the New Israel Fund and a contributing writer for The Jewish Currents. She was an aide to former Israeli Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni and has written for The Daily Beast, The Forward, The New Republic, and The Atlantic.
