Over the past month, Israel’s government has set about enacting its extreme agenda, including tabling legislation against the judicial system and provocative moves escalating violence between Jews and Palestinians.
We must thank our Canadian elected leaders who have been bravely speaking out about the dangers of these acts. As violence escalates, we need their voices even more.

On February 14th, Global Affairs Canada under Minister Melanie Joly issued a statement warning against increased settlements, alongside earlier denunciations of terrorism.

On February 27th, NDP Foreign Policy Critic Heather McPherson tweeted her own objection to the violence in the West Bank, and to increased settlements.
I'm deeply troubled and worried by the unprecedented rampage of Israelis settlers against Palestinian in West Bank following an attack in which two Israeli brothers were killed.
I'm disgusted that this violence was encourage by sitting politicians.
