Eight-Day Study Tour to Israel

Study Tour to Israel
Dates: June 3rd to 10th, 2026
Registration deadline: March 31st, 2026
Join other like-minded liberal Canadians on a unique, eight-day exploration of progressive Israeli civil society.
Time and again we hear from our colleagues in Israel — both Jewish and Palestinian — how much it matters to see the support of the Canadian Jewish community. This is your chance to meet the courageous leaders of the civil society, witness their work firsthand, and let them know, clearly and powerfully: you are not alone.
Show solidarity with activists on the frontlines of the fight for democracy and human rights. This is not your typical mission or solidarity delegation. We will see firsthand the realities that impact the lives of Israelis and Palestinians.
In 2026, witness the inspiring and hopeful activists and experts dealing with Israel’s most pressing issues:
- Jewish-Arab joint groups such as Omdim Beyachad, Givat Haviva, and Sikkuy
- New grassroots leaders and movements like the Faithful Left and pro-democracy protests
- Human rights defenders in the West Bank like Breaking the Silence and Yesh Din
- Think tanks providing domestic and foreign policy solutions like Mitvim and Berl Katznelson Center

“I honestly cannot think of a better way to tour Israel than with a New Israel Fund Study Tour. […] It increased the depth of my knowledge manyfold on issues and facts about the country and its struggles to be a more democratic and equitable society for all its inhabitants — Jewish and non-Jewish. I’d say it brought my level of understanding to a new level — but it also brought me hope! Something I was really craving as I have been a loyal supporter of Israel my entire life.“
