(New Gen) Urgent Update on Settler Violence

27 July 2025 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

The events of October 7th and the ensuing war in Gaza have had horrific impacts on the people of Israel-Palestine. One phenomenon that has been overlooked is the stark increase in settler violence on Palestinians in the West Bank, often aided, and nearly always unprosecuted, by the army. Illegal settlers have been establishing new outposts in close proximity to Palestinian villages (a longtime tactic), but have recently also started establishing outposts within Palestinian villages themselves. The outposts make it impossible for Palestinians to farm their lands, and also serve as gathering points for violent attacks, including arson, vandalism, and theft on Palestinian people and property. Since the war began 21 months ago, no fewer than 30 villages throughout the West Bank have been forced to leave their lands entirely as a result of these terror tactics.

Our longtime partner Breaking the Silence is on the ground in the West Bank to monitor and provide support to the Palestinians affected, and have offered to conduct a briefing exclusively for our New Generations community on this urgent issue. Register below to receive the Zoom link.
