Who’s invited?
The extended volunteer leadership of NIFC spans many roles and over 60+ people in and outside of Toronto: Board, Advisory Council, Committees, New Generations, Naomi Chazan Fellows and alumni, Lawyers Circle, solicitors, and other informal roles too.
What’s so “new” about our work?
Lots! In Israel, NIF’s work has evolved in important ways over the past decade. NIFC is now updating our own description to stay apace with these changes.
Here in Canada, Canadian Jewry’s attitudes towards Israel have opened significantly. Additionally, CRA’s recently loosened rules over advocacy are enabling us to be bolder than ever before.
Why all of us together?
Each of you represent us in the community at large and you each deserves to know the most up-to-date information about our changes and plans for the future.
We also hope that by connecting our wide variety of leaders across the GTHA – and in later years across Canada – we will magnify our collective influence.
How often will we gather this way?
We hope that this Leadership Summit proves so useful that we can make such a gathering an annual staple of our yearly programming. We eagerly seek your thoughts on how to support you best.
